Our Services
Clinic Based
Clinic-based, where therapies address many skills through DTT, NET, and incidental training. Children and young adults will have individualized programs to address their individual needs. While surrounded by peers, children, and young adults will work closely with ABA staff and peers to accomplish their goals.
At Equitable Learning Solutions, we believe that children and young adults learn best when ABA therapy is conducted in various environments essential for the generalization and development of skills. A combination of clinic-based, home-based, and community-based services is part of our skills development across all domains: social-emotional skills, functional daily living skills, functional communication training, acquisition skills, and behavior reduction.
Home Based
ABA therapy at home will be implemented based on the child’s and the young adult’s needs. Skills addressed at home are skills the child and young adult have learned at the center and now are ready to generalize those skills in the home across various individuals. Parent(s) and guardian(s) will participate in parent training to learn ABA principles used in the home to increase social-emotional skills, functional daily living skills, functional communication training, acquisition skills, and reduce maladaptive behaviors. At Equitable Learning Solutions, we believe that each individual, family, and community makes a full partnership to ensure inclusive and equitable access to support and meaningful progress.
Community Based
ABA therapy is provided in the community, whether at a grocery store, theatre, restaurant, or park. An RBT and oversight from a BCBA will oversee programs in the community to increase health and safety skills, social-emotional skills, functional daily living skills, functional communication training, acquisitions skills, and reduction of maladaptive behaviors.
Skill deficits are targeted using ABA principles in various environments. At Equitable Learning Solutions, Behavior Plans are individualized for each child and young adult. A variety of curricular assessments, parent/client interviews, FBA, record review, and direct observations are among the tools used to determine the functional level of each child and young adult.
